Any business capability consists of three components - process, people and technology. The effectiveness of the capability is determined by how well these three components interact. No technology development can thus be undertaken without a thorough understanding of the underlying processes or the people (skills, roles, etc.) involved with them. Performing a business process analysis is then often the first step in the requirements analysis for a new solution. This is nothing new. But are you not tired of re-inventing the wheel each time a new project is launched, tying up senior management for hours on end to map out process which was mapped last year? While the discussions emanating from these sessions are often valuable, we believe that too much time is spent generating the process maps and too little on truly critically evaluating them. We argue about whether that is really how the process work on the ground rather than how it should work.
We thus believe that any business process intervention should leave the organisation with a set of reusable, extendable, and maintainable process maps and have incorporated tools such as Sparx Systems' Enterprise Architect into our offering. Specific services we offer are:
- Business Process Modelling & Documentation
- Business Process Analysis & Optimisation
- Business Process Training
